Hi Everyone! Short one this week

We only had from about 9a.m. till 6p.m. on the property today (Saturday) for the week. Our main focus was our driveway and the bridge over the culverts.  And we got it in place! (not complete but passable). So that was exciting!

And for the not so great news, we may have our first issue! The excavator was a bit finicky today 😦   It seemed to be losing power a bit and was not performing as well as normal.  I’m going to get a mechanic to come look at it (that was always the plan but the timeline is now accelerated :p )  So fingers crossed it’s nothing too serious or my gamble may not pay off. I may lose some sleep this week thinking about it.  But we will figure it out either way 🙂

Next Week and Beyond We will probably dedicate some serious hours next weekend if the excavator is working (Thursday night, Friday and Saturday).  And I plan to take the entire following week off (19-23) with my paternity leave to spend some serious time up there.  Our Percolation test is scheduled for the 22-23 so hopefully we can get ready for that and get it done!
