And so the project continues……  
This week we got our camper up and set up on the land! I did that Thursday night.  So now I don’t have to sleep in the back of the Yukon which is really nice!  I did not give myself an extra inch for getting the trailer where I wanted it. I thought I had cleared plenty of room but it was a bit tight!
On Friday night our neighbor invited everyone that will live up there to dinner. His house is AMAZING.. and it was a very interesting assortment of couples (4 in total including us). To say the least Karianne and I from a money stand point clearly don’t fit in.  They all talked a lot about skiing all sorts of different resorts and about a lot of different cabins they have or have access to in Idaho. When the conversation turned to us and what we are doing, they were just like .. wow . that is very ambitious… I would just pay someone to do all that.. .. followed up with ” oh yeah me too.. I just would call a friend to do all that”.   .. And I respond with.. yeah well if I had money I would too…. actually no I didn’t.. i just said.. yeah we are crazy :).   All very very nice people though and they didn’t “look down” on us at all. Very excited to have them all as neighbors!
I was able to move our big ridge tree pile down off of the ridge. I was able to try out my fixed thumb on the excavator. Was kind of tough to deploy by myself.. Luckily i managed :).  
The rest of the weekend can be summed up with “I moved A LOT of dirt”.  That part of the process has turned from a labor of love to a bit of monotony. Kind of over it. Could really benefit from another piece of equipment. One that can move dirt from point A to point B a little more efficiently. But I’m not TOO terribly far away from the end of ridge cutting. So that is exciting. The neighbor that hosted dinner, Matt, has a skidsteer. I think he’s starting to feel sorry for us so he came down for 2 hours on saturday and helped us move some dirt.  That was awesome! He helped throw a lot of dirt up at our driveway entrance that still needs a lot of dirt up there!
