Hey all!   

I did make it to the land the last two Saturdays and made some progress on the septic system (work kicked in OT so my play time is a pretty limited).  Here are some pictures and a couple of highlights:

9-9-23 Andrew and I went up and placed the other two tanks and filled them up with water so they could be inspected. I also hooked up a second inverter to my solar system and now I can run my massive well pump from my shed! No Generator needed. Which is exciting because the generator is really loud. It was good timing because I had to run the pump for about seven hours to fill up all three tanks

9-16-23 The whole family came out and spent the night Friday into Saturday. I only had to dig a new area above the first tank for a spot for the filter tanks. (Our septic system is basically a smaller water treatment plant).  The good news is the rest of the septic system will be built out by my septic designer, Carl. The bad news is this last part is about half the cost of the system.. so lots more Benjamins to hand over. I believe it was yesterday that Carl got the filter tanks in place. 

I don’t have much more to do before the snow falls. I do want to do one more day of gravel deliveries for my driveway, and then the driveway will be done!  But I think that is it for project work this year. Going forward it will be paperwork again to get ready for the build next year.
