Hi All!!

It’s been about 22 months since I last gave an update. It’s hard to believe how fast time flies. I have wanted to write this letter for well over a year. However, I could not write it until I knew for certain it was a done deal.

About 1.5 years ago, after trying to make two different plans work two different years, we decided to explore the idea of selling our land!  Even though I tried really hard, I could not get myself to feel good about the financial burden that we would be under if we went forward with our dream in Huntsville.  So we put it on the market.

Selling the land did not go quickly or as planned.  After lots and lots of personal and family prayers, a buyer finally came. And as of last week, we are no longer the owners of 1628 S Toliver Ln. The 6.5 acres plot off of old snow basin road that we developed is no longer ours. It is bitter sweet, but at the same time what a blessing! On Friday of last week (the day after it sold), after asking for permission, we went up to the land and said our farewell in our traditional manner. You see, visits were often accompanied by little Caesar’s pizzas :). See pictures!

Now in the meantime, most of you know, while waiting for all this to happen, we bought a new house out in Idaho on 7.75 acres!  The way it all happened is a story for another day, but we feel that it was all very much orchestrated by Heavenly Father.  So many miracles and blessings a long the way.  The house was built in the early 80s and we want to do a pretty big addition (there is no garage, a situation I must remedy) and update the house. We are super excited to start the project even though it will be quiet extensive!

So all that being said, we have closed the “hunstville” chapter of our life and are now on to our “Idaho” chapter. I am not sure if I will have the time I need to do weekly updates when we launch this new project, but I do like this format as a sort of journal for myself.  So I’ll at least make an attempt 🙂

If you would like to receive newsletters about the addition and remodel please reply go ahead an subscribe. A lot of the major project will take place next year, but we may try to get a few things started this winter.  I do not expect to be consistent but will do my best to get updates out.  I cannot wait to get started!!!!

Here is to the next chapter in Idaho!
