Hi All!
We had a beast of a week this week. So much happened it’s crazy! So grateful for all of it. I am having soo much fun and feel totally “in my element” doing this project. It is definitely a life dream of mine becoming a reality. In case anyone is curious, although I think I’m getting a bit more “used” to the work, I am still super tired and feel beat up every day 🙂 I am still waiting for the “project legs” to develop, but I am starting to think that may never come.
I have tons of pictures and video clips this week so I will try and let those do the “talking”.
All I will say here is that it was really fun to watch the concrete floor process. They started so early! Pump truck showed up at 6:30a.m. But it all went smoothly and we are grateful for that.
We also got to frame a few more walls and run lots of joists and install LOTS of subfloor. It is so neat to see all the changes and see it all starting to take shape.
Only thing I’m sad about is I REALLY wanted to get all of the subfloor done. It was a bit ambitious for a goal, and in the end I was defeated and fell a bit short. I think getting fried in the sun all day Saturday slowed me down a good deal. It was still a phenomenal week though!
Forecast has rain and cold weather showing up this week. Hopefully we can keep things mostly dry!
