Hi all!
We had another good week on the project. We are ready to pour the next level of ICFs! Which means we are done stacking ICFs. I don’t have a lot to say this time which I am sure is great for everyone :). We did have visitors this week. Doug and Tasha came up on Wednesday during their spring break and were a ton of help.Â
Doug and I stayed up late Friday night and got SOO much done. It was awesome. We got so much done that I had nothing left to do Saturday. Which is good because it started raining on Saturday. I had to wake Karianne up at 6:30 and we had to hurry and get things cleaned up so we could put our plastic down. And it was just in time. It started raining just before we finished.
So instead of working on the project Saturday, I worked a bunch of overtime at work. My program is hitting a critical stage and they have been begging us all to put in some extra time. So it worked out really well that I was able to. Definitely scored some brownie points 🙂
Going forward this week we are supposed to pour on Friday but the weather is looking so dismal (like snow and cold!) that I’m considering rescheduling. I’d hate to lose a week.. but also don’t want the risks associated with working in awful weather. It feels like march and april got together this year and decided to switch places…. Roof trusses are also supposed to show up this week so that is exciting!
